Open Lily Flower With Six Curling Petals

Open Lily Flower With Six Curling Petals coloring page

Coloring guide

A single lily in full bloom fills the page, drawn in clean black outlines on a white background. Six long petals spread out from the center, and each one has wavy edges, a center line down the middle, and a tip that curls back on itself. Several petals also have tiny dotted marks along the veins. In the middle, six thin stamens arch outward with oval anthers at the ends, and a shorter pistil sits near the base where short, sketchy lines mark the throat of the flower. There is no stem, leaf, or background, so young kids have plenty of room to work. Try shading each petal from a darker color at the center to a lighter one at the tip, then use a contrasting color for the stamens. It also makes a nice way to talk about the parts of a flower.
