Overhead View of a Formula Race Car

Overhead View of a Formula Race Car coloring page

Coloring guide

A single open-wheel race car is drawn from above and turned sideways on the page, with the nose pointing toward the bottom. Four chunky tires sit at the corners, and the two on the right have thin suspension arms running back to the body. A tall flat wing stands along the left edge, and the narrow pointed nose is at the bottom with a smaller wing near it. In the middle you can see the long body, the cockpit opening, and a round helmet shape tucked inside. The lines are bold and the shapes are big, so it works well for kids who like cars. Try coloring the tires dark gray, then pick two or three bright colors for the body and wings. You could also talk about why race cars have wings and wide tires. This page is free to print.
