Owl on a Branch under a Crescent Moon, Hard / Detailed Coloring Sheet
Coloring guide
Perched on a knobby tree branch with its feet gripping the wood, this big-eyed owl is covered in pattern. Scalloped feathers dotted with little hearts cover the chest, while the wings and the tufts above the eyes have swirls, hearts and layered feather lines. A swirly crescent moon sits in the top corner, small stars and dots are scattered across the night sky, and leaves and a few berry clusters frame the edges. The fine detail is a good match for older kids, teens or grown-ups who like to color slowly. Deep purples and teals work well for the feathers, with warm yellow on the moon and stars and bright red berries. Download the free printable PDF whenever you need something to color. - 3Fill the body scales with turquoise, mint green and marigold yellow, adding a few sky blue and slate gray scales, and keep the heart shapes white.
- 4Color the wings with amber orange and tangerine orange, add sky blue at the wing tips, and paint the feet and beak with marigold yellow.
