- 1Color the owl's head and face with cream beige, leaving the two round eye whites and the glasses frames white.
- 2Fill both wings and the owl's feet with warm brown and golden yellow, keeping the toes simple.
- 3Color the open book's cover edges and spine with medium blue, then fill the two pages' sky with light sky blue and the hills and tree with grass green.
- 4Paint the sun and its rays golden yellow and light sky blue, and add the tree trunk in warm brown if you like.
- 5Color the three stacked books: bright blue at the bottom, grass green in the middle, and warm red on top, with pale cream page edges and golden yellow bands.
