Paddle Boat Garfield Strumming a Ukulele
Coloring guide
Garfield leans back in a small paddle-wheel boat and strums a little ukulele, grinning away. He's wearing a straw boater hat with a band, and his bare feet are propped on the edge of the boat, so the whole scene feels easygoing. A big spiky-rayed sun fills the upper left corner, and simple wavy lines show water splashing around the boat and the paddle wheel at the back. With railing posts and a curved hull, the boat has lots of small sections to fill in. Sunny yellow for the sun, warm orange with dark stripes for Garfield, and tan or gold for the hat would look good, with blue and teal for the water. - 2Fill Garfield's body, arms, paws, tail and face with bright orange, keeping the eye whites and the eye highlights white.
- 3Color Garfield's dark stripes and back with dark brown, and add the pink nose and cream-colored hat with a red band.
- 4Paint the wooden boat planks and seat with medium brown, and the lighter deck plank and paddle wheel with light tan and light gray.
- 5Color the boat's red rims with red, then fill the water at the bottom and sides with sky blue and pale blue, leaving the background white.
- 6Optional: Add a little amber shading along Garfield's belly and the boat edges for a bit of depth.
