Island Palm Trees and Beach Ball in the Ocean
Coloring guide
On a tiny sandy island in the middle of the sea, two palm trees lean over a big striped beach ball resting at their base. Coconuts hide under the leafy fronds, and little grass tufts poke up around the trunks. The island also has a spiral seashell and a few small sand mounds. Wavy lines of water circle the island, and a small sailboat with a flag floats near the horizon on the right. In the sky there's a sun with rays, two puffy clouds and a few tiny birds on the left. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the sand island at the bottom in sand yellow, and the sun in sunny yellow.
- 2Fill the palm fronds in leaf green and grass green, alternating shades so the trees look full.
- 3Color the trunks in warm brown, leaving a little gap between the bands, and the coconuts in coconut brown.
- 4Paint the sea in sky blue and the clouds in pale blue, keeping the sky background white.
- 5Color the beach ball in red, blue, yellow, orange and bright aqua panels, leaving the top highlight white.
- 6Finish with the sailboat hull in bright red and the grass tufts in green. Optional: add a slightly darker shade along one side of each trunk for depth.
