A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big skin areas: color the face, neck, hands, and arms with peach skin, leaving the kitten's paws white.
- 2Color the hair chestnut brown, then fill the uniform shirt and pants with navy blue.
- 3Color the kitten with golden yellow and its muzzle with ivory cream, then fill the blanket wrap with sky blue.
- 4Color the ambulance: fill the red stripes with fire red, the windows and windshield with pale blue, and the bumper, wheels, and mirror with steel gray. Keep the ambulance body and roof lights white.
- 5Add the belt, pouches, and straps in charcoal gray, and the star-of-life emblems in very light gray with soft blue accents. Color the tree trunk dark brown, the foliage leaf green, and the grass grass green.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading on one side of the blanket and the uniform to give the scene more depth.
