Marshmallow Roasting by the Campfire, a Pororo Coloring Page
Coloring guide
Side by side sit a little penguin in a pom-pom knit beanie and striped scarf and a smiling baby dinosaur, each holding a long stick with a marshmallow on the end. A campfire burns on a pile of logs between them, inside a ring of round stones. Behind the pair there's a triangle tent, with snow-covered pine trees on both sides and snowflakes drifting through the air. The dinosaur has spikes down its back, a round belly and spots on its tail. Big shapes and clear outlines work well for preschoolers and early elementary kids. Warm oranges and yellows would suit the flames, pale blue the beanie and scarf, and soft green the dinosaur. Grab the free printable PDF for a quiet, creative moment. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big tent: fill its sides with tangerine orange and the door panel with chocolate brown.
- 2Color the pine trees with forest green, and give the snowy lower branches on the right tree a pale sky blue.
- 3Fill the penguin's head and body with charcoal gray, the hat and scarf with cherry red, and the beak and feet with amber, leaving the face and belly white.
- 4Color the dinosaur's body with grass green, its back spikes with golden yellow, its belly with cream yellow, and its feet with light lime green.
- 5Build the campfire: bright orange flames with a golden yellow center, caramel brown and chocolate brown logs, and stone gray rocks, keeping the snow white.
- 6Optional: add a little shading under the penguin's hat and along the tent edges with a slightly darker tone of the same color for depth.
