A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the penguin's beak, carrot nose and feet in orange, and the carrot nose tip in orange too.
- 2Fill the penguin's back, head and flippers in dark gray, leaving the belly and face white.
- 3Color the scarves in bright red, with the penguin's middle stripe in olive green and the snowman's stripes in dark red for contrast.
- 4Add the snowman's hat in dark gray with a bright red band, then color the two pine trees in forest green and light gray.
- 5Finish with the buttons, the sticks for arms in brown, and the snowman's buttons in charcoal black; leave the snow and snowman's face white.
- 6Optional: Add a few light strokes of darker shade along the edges of the penguin and hat for a little depth.
