A cheerful baby penguin glides over a frozen pond on white figure skates, one foot lifted behind and both flippers stretched wide to keep balance. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the pine trees' lower branches with forest green, leaving the snowy tops and the white tree tiers untouched.
- 2Color the penguin's back, head top, flippers and raised leg with charcoal gray, keeping the belly, face and eye areas white.
- 3Color the scarf red, including its fringe ends, so it stands out against the gray body.
- 4Fill the beak with golden yellow and the tongue with bubblegum pink, then leave the bright eye whites white.
- 5Paint the skate blades and boot heels with light blue and steel blue, and color the frozen pond ice and snow banks with pale ice blue, leaving the snow banks white.
- 6Optional: add a few soft darker strokes on the gray body and green trees to give them a little depth.
