Storybook Time by the Fireplace With Pororo
Coloring guide
Settled into a plump armchair, a little penguin in a big pom-pom knit beanie holds open a picture book. One page shows a Christmas tree and the other a smiling snowman. A chunky braided blanket drapes over the chair arm, and at the penguin's feet a small spiky baby dinosaur sleeps curled up on an oval rug. The stone fireplace behind them has a crackling fire and logs, plus a candle lantern and a leafy potted plant on the mantel. Over on the left, a curtained window looks out on falling snowflakes and a snowy pine tree. From the stitched hat to the stone bricks, this free printable is full of snug little details. Oranges and yellows work well for the flames, while soft blues and purples on the beanie and blanket keep the room feeling warm against that wintry window. Kids who like Pororo coloring pages usually enjoy Godzilla and My Little Pony too.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big areas: color the armchair and its seat in forest green, and the rug in crimson red, leaving the background white.
- 2Color the penguin's knit hat and its pompom-style details in crimson red and pale cream, then fill the penguin's head top and earmuffs in charcoal gray.
- 3Fill the book's covers in ocean blue and the snowman and tree pictures on the pages, leaving the inner pages white; use golden yellow for the penguin's feet and beak.
- 4Color the baby dinosaur and the dinosaur's back in light green, and the blanket in pale cream with a rust red stripe for a cozy look.
- 5Add the window panes in sky blue, the curtain in crimson red, and the fireplace bricks in slate gray and tan, then fill the fire in bright orange and lemon yellow.
- 6Optional: Add a little shading in darker shades of your colors to the armchair and blanket, and leave the snow, snowman, and lantern glass white for sparkle.
