A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big background areas: color the snowy hills and ground in pale blue and ice blue, and leave the cabin roof and tree tops white for snow.
- 2Color the moon, all the stars and the shooting star in golden yellow, keeping the penguin's face and belly white.
- 3Fill the penguin's back and head in charcoal gray, then the lower body in charcoal gray as well, and color the beak and both feet orange.
- 4Color the bobble hat pom-pom in cream and the hat stripes in red, then add the telescope tube in sky blue and its end ring in deep blue.
- 5Use sea green, rust orange and olive gray for the scarf stripes, and color the tripod legs in light gray with deep blue tips.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading along the penguin's gray areas and the telescope to make it look more rounded.
