Ice Slide Fun with Three Penguins

Coloring guide
One happy penguin glides headfirst on its belly down a long, steep icy slope, flippers out and beak open in a big smile. A second penguin stands near the top of the ice hill with a flipper on the ridge, ready to follow. At the bottom right a third penguin waits, looking up at the slider. Snow caps and hanging icicles line the rocky ice formations, and small plants poke out of the snowy ground at the lower left. Farther back there's calm water with floating ice chunks, jagged icebergs and mountains, and puffy outlined clouds. Light blues and icy teals look good on the slide and icicles, and white snow caps will stand out against them. Download and print it free for a screen-free activity at home. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.

- 2Color the water and the far right floating ice in deep ocean blue and bright blue, and fill the iceberg bases in ice blue.
- 3Fill the penguins' backs, heads and flippers in charcoal gray, keeping the bellies, faces, beaks and feet white.
- 4Add sky blue to the icicles, ice cliffs and the blue ice walls on the left, and soft blue to the shadowed ice areas.
- 5Finish with the leaf green plant patch at the bottom left. Optional: add a few lines of soft blue on the slide to suggest shine.
