Piglet Hatching From a Cracked Easter Egg

Piglet Hatching From a Cracked Easter Egg coloring page

Coloring guide

Piglet pops out of a big cracked Easter egg with a wide open smile and his eyes squeezed happy. One arm reaches up and holds the top piece of the shell like a lid he just lifted off. He wears his striped shirt, and you can see the stripes wrapping around his tummy inside the egg. The shell has zigzag lines across the top half, round polka dots on the bottom half, and two wavy bands near the base. Jagged crack edges run around the broken rim, and a few small shell pieces lie on the ground at the corners. Try coloring the zigzags and dots in different pastel shades so each pattern stands out. It also works well for talking about patterns, since kids can count the dots or follow the zigzag lines. This printable page gives plenty of room for crayons or markers.
