Pile of Hanukkah Gelt Coins With Stars of David

Coloring guide
A loose heap of round coins fills the page, some lying flat and some stacked or overlapping. Several coins show a large number 100 in bold outlined numerals, while others are stamped with a six-pointed Star of David made from double lines. A couple of coins are partly hidden behind the others, so only a piece of the numbers or star shows. Each coin has a ridged edge drawn along its side, and a few short horizontal lines sit around the pile. The big open shapes are easy for small hands to fill in. Try coloring the 100 coins gold and the star coins silver or blue, then count how many of each kind you can find. Older kids can practice adding up the coins marked 100 to see how much the pile is worth. It's a nice quiet activity to go with Hanukkah gelt and dreidel games.
