Butterfly Chase: Playful Dog Leaping in the Grass
Coloring guide
Mid-leap, a fluffy puppy grins with its mouth open and keeps its eyes on a butterfly fluttering just above its nose. One front paw reaches out as if to swat the insect, and the floppy ear and curled tail show all the movement. The puppy wears a simple collar. Tall blades of grass and two daisy-style flowers frame the bottom of the page, and the butterfly's patterned wings and curly antennae add fun little spaces to fill in. Big paws and fluffy fur suit small hands, while the circles on the wings give older kids a bit of a challenge. Golden yellow or warm brown for the coat, a bright red collar, and purple and pink wings will pop against green grass. This free printable is a happy choice for animal lovers.
