Playground I Spy Page with Slide, Swing and Sandbox
Coloring guide
At the top of this playground scene is a little wooden playhouse with a pointed roof, a square window and an arched doorway. It has a ladder on one side and a wavy slide on the other. Next to it, a single swing hangs from a tall A-frame set. Up front you'll find a seesaw with two handles, a striped beach ball, and a square sandbox with a bucket and a small shovel sticking out of the sand. Tufts of grass are scattered around, and puffy bushes fill the background. Kids can hunt for each object and name it before they start coloring, so it fits the I Spy style nicely. Bright red or blue for the beach ball panels and sandy yellow for the sandbox are easy choices. Download the free PDF whenever you need a quick coloring break. - 3Color the sandbox frame golden orange and the sand pale sand, then add orange to the sand mound.
- 4Paint the tree and bushes grass green, and the wooden posts, ladder rails and swing legs chocolate brown.
- 5Use light tan for the ladder steps and the arched doorway in grass green to finish the structure.
- 6Optional: Add small details like the window panes in bright blue, the shovel in sky blue and orange, and leave the center of the ball white.
