Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn Back to Back
Coloring guide
Two DC characters stand back to back on this detailed page. Poison Ivy is up front with her hands on her hips, wearing a choker, a flower tucked into her long wavy hair, and a leafy bodysuit with matching leaf leggings, while thorny vines curl up by her feet. Behind her is Harley Quinn in a diamond-patterned harlequin outfit with pom-poms in her hair, one hand resting on the handle of a big mallet. Check the bottom right for playing cards, dice, a little flag reading BOOM and a scatter of tiny bubbles or confetti. Rich greens suit Ivy's leaves and vines, and bold red and black fit Harley's diamonds. The free PDF prints at home for a quick break anytime. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the skin: fill Poison Ivy's and Harley's faces, shoulders, arms, belly and legs with light peach, leaving the background white.
- 2Color Poison Ivy's leafy bodysuit and the leaf patterns on her hips and legs with bright lime and forest green, leaving a few small white spots as highlights.
- 3Fill the vines curling around her legs and the bottom left tendrils with leaf green and deep green, adding a few darker accents where they overlap.
- 4Color the hair: golden yellow for Poison Ivy's blonde curls and cherry red for Harley's hair and pigtails, then scarlet red for the jacket behind her.
- 5Add the rest: silver gray for the cards and spray cans, slate gray for the bottom bottle, rust brown for Harley's belt and amber brown for the bat handle. Keep the black pants and white shine lines as they are.
- 6Optional: add light shading with a slightly darker peach on the shadow sides of the arms and legs.
