Polka Dot Bubble Letter D to Color

Polka Dot Bubble Letter D to Color

Coloring guide

A big capital letter D fills the page with a thick, rounded outline and a flat left side. Inside the letter, a smaller D sits near the center, and around it are lots of circles in different sizes, like polka dots. Some of the dots are whole, while a few get cut off by the edges of the letter, especially along the top, bottom, and left side. A couple of dots also tuck behind the smaller D in the middle. The wide open spaces and simple shapes make this a good fit for younger kids who are just learning to stay inside the lines. Try coloring every dot a different color and leaving the inner D plain, or fill it with a favorite pattern. It also works well for a letter D lesson, since kids can think of words like dog, duck, and dinosaur while they color.
