Prehistoric Sea Creatures Crowd Around a Little Diving Bear

A group of cartoon prehistoric sea animals fills this page, and a small bear in a round diving helmet floats near the bottom. At the top is a long-snouted fish with a saw-like edge on its nose and a striped belly. Below it is a big fish with scales and a frilly, scalloped head with a wide smiling mouth. In the middle you can see a pointy-nosed swimmer with flippers, a long-necked reptile with a striped body and a curved neck, and a small spiky fish on the right. On the lower left is a striped, many-finned creature with several eyes and a claw. The small bear wears a cap and has a trail of bubbles behind him. This free printable works well for a lesson on ancient ocean life. Try giving each animal its own color pattern, then talk about which ones have long necks, flippers, or claws.
