Princess in a Pumpkin Carriage with Two Ponies for Halloween

Sitting inside a big round pumpkin carriage, a little princess with a braid and a small tiara holds the reins in both hands. Her dress has puffy sleeves and a heart on the bodice. Two cute ponies with flowers in their manes pull the carriage, and each wears a harness with a heart-shaped charm on its chest. The pumpkin has a curly stem and two leaves on top, plus one large spoked wheel showing on each side. A winding path crosses grassy ground with small tufts and bushy clouds behind them, and a crescent moon and a scatter of sparkly stars fill the night sky. The big shapes and clear outlines are friendly for preschoolers and early elementary kids, and this free printable leaves lots of room to work. Bright orange for the carriage and soft pinks or purples for the manes and dress will look lovely against a deep blue sky. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the pumpkin carriage: fill the big pumpkin body and its top with pumpkin orange, and the leaves and stem with bright green.
- 2Color the bushes and grass with dark green, leaf green and bright green, then add a pale lime patch on the right side of the grass.
- 3Fill the two ponies' bodies, heads and manes with cream and caramel brown, leaving the manes and hair brown.
- 4Color the princess with peach skin on her face and neck, rose pink on her dress and light pink on the sleeves and skirt, and caramel brown for her hair.
- 5Add lemon yellow to the carriage window frames, the tiara and the sparkle star, and amber gold to the wheels.
- 6Finish with chocolate brown on the ponies' hooves and sand beige on the path and lower legs. Optional: add a slightly darker shade along the bottom of the pumpkin to add depth.
