Lantern Lighting on a Snowy Princess Christmas Balcony

Standing on a castle balcony, a long-haired princess in a jeweled tiara and fur-trimmed cape reaches up with a slender wand to light the candle in a hanging lantern. Two more lanterns dangle next to it, and a big bow with holly leaves and berries sits on the stone balustrade up front. In the background there's a crescent moon, lots of sparkly stars, and a faraway castle with tall towers, snowy pine trees, a little village with a church steeple, and a stone bridge. Her wavy hair, flowing sleeves and fur collar give kids plenty of texture to work with, and the village and trees are a good match for smaller crayons. Deep royal blue for the night sky and warm yellow for the flames will make the candlelight glow. It's a free printable PDF, handy for a screen-free activity at home.
