Proud Turkey with Fanned Tail, Farm Animals Printable
Coloring guide
Striding across a grassy farmyard with a big open-beak smile, this turkey has its wide tail feathers fanned out behind it in layered, striped rows. It has bright round eyes, a dangling wattle, scalloped feathers on the wing and chest, and long scaly toes. Behind it is a small wooden coop with a little ramp, a crossed-pane window and an open doorway, next to a wooden fence and a puffy bush. Around the turkey's feet are three ears of corn, a few fallen leaves and tufts of grass. Little hands can handle the large tail sections, and the feather scallops let older kids practice detail. Reds, oranges and golden yellows look rich in the tail, with soft yellow corn and a brown barn. Print it at home for a quiet, creative moment.
