Puddle Jumping With a Puppy and a Leaf Umbrella, Chhota Bheem
Coloring guide
Laughing and barefoot, a boy holds a giant leaf over his head like an umbrella and leaps through a muddy puddle, water splashing everywhere. He wears a knotted headband, a loose short-sleeved shirt and rolled-up shorts, with one arm flung out wide like he loves every drop. Beside him bounds a happy puppy with a collar and floppy ears, and a few more splashes fly around its paws. Raindrops fall from puffy clouds, and in the background a small thatched-roof hut with a fence sits beside tufts of grass and leafy plants. The large leaf, the puddle ripples and the splashes are all good places for bold color. Fresh greens suit the leaf and plants, and warm golden yellow on the thatched roof will stand out against the blue rain. Grab this free printable for a fun afternoon activity. - pale blue
- ocean blue
- golden yellow
- chocolate brown

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the puddle and the splashes around the feet using sky blue, and add pale blue to the small clouds and the splash drops for a light, rainy feel.
- 2Color the big leaf umbrella and the grass and bushes in leaf green, then add dark green to the darker grass blades and the bush beside the hut.
- 3Fill the boy's skin parts, including his face, arms, hands and bare feet, with skin peach, and color his shirt bright yellow.
- 4Color the shorts in ocean blue, the hair in chocolate brown, and the headband in bright red, then add the puppy in caramel orange.
- 5Use golden yellow for the hut roof and the thatch, and chocolate brown for the door and the hair details.
- 6Optional: Leave small highlights and the puppy's little collar lighter so the drawing still looks bright and playful.
