Country Road Ride for Puppy Dog Pals Friends
Coloring guide
A floppy-eared puppy and a striped kitten peek over the window of a small, round-nosed car in this cheerful page. The puppy has a big open smile with its tongue out, and the kitten beside it has whiskers and a sweet little grin. Both rest their paws on the window edge. The car faces forward with round headlights, a wide grille and a chunky bumper. Behind it a winding road curves past a wooden fence, leafy trees, bushes, grass tufts and rolling hills under puffy clouds. Small hands can fill in the large open shapes on the car and hills, and older kids will find plenty of detail too. A bright red or sunny yellow car will make the two friends stand out against soft green hills. This free printable is a good pick for animal lovers. Love this Puppy Dog Pals coloring page? A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big car body and the front bumpers in bright red, then color the roof edge and mirrors the same red.
- 2Color the grass, bushes and tree leaves in bright green and grass green, and use lime green for the right tree and hills.
- 3Fill the sky-like background hills and fence area as you like, leaving the clouds white.
- 4Color the dog in caramel with chestnut brown ears, and the cat in amber orange with coral pink inner ears, keeping the dog's cream chest and the cat's white paws.
- 5Add the car windows in royal blue and slate blue, then the headlights in golden yellow and the grille and tires in light and charcoal gray.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading on the tires and under the bumpers for extra depth, and leave small white highlights on the eyes and headlights.
