Puppy Cuddle Time with Dora the Explorer
Coloring guide
Dora is sitting on the ground, smiling with her mouth open, with a wiggly puppy in her lap that she holds with both hands. The puppy has floppy ears, a round nose, a collar with a little tag and a cheerful face, and one paw rests on Dora's knee. Dora wears her bob haircut with bangs, a short puffy-sleeved dress over a shirt, and sneakers. In front of the pair sit an empty pet food bowl and a bone with a heart-shaped end, and a simple curved line behind them marks the horizon. Bold lines and big shapes mean little ones can color without much trouble. Golden brown for the puppy and red or blue for the collar tag and bowl would look good. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big areas: color Dora's hair and bangs in dark brown, leaving the top highlight lines free.
- 2Fill Dora's face, arms, neck and legs with peach tan, and her dress and pants with lavender purple.
- 3Color the sleeves, shoe laces and sock trim in hot pink and soft pink, and the bowl in bright red with its water in bright blue.
- 4Paint the puppy's head, tail and ears in medium brown and light tan, and add the golden tag on its collar.
- 5Color the bone in cream, and leave the puppy's white belly, chest and paws uncolored along with the eye whites.
- 6Optional: Add darker shading to the hair and dress folds with a deeper shade of the same color to add depth.
