Sandcastle Building Pets at the Beach, Adopt Me! Printable
Coloring guide
A happy puppy rests its paws on top of a tall sandcastle, with a smiling baby sea turtle and a little crab pitching in on either side. The castle has battlements, an arched doorway and a scallop shell on the front. A big striped beach umbrella shades the sand behind them, waves roll in beneath a puffy cloud, and two seagulls cross the sky. Up front you'll see a bucket, a small shovel, a starfish and a few scattered seashells. Large, clear shapes make this free printable a good match for young kids learning to color inside the lines. Golden yellow suits the sandcastle and bright red is great for the crab, while soft green on the turtle's shell helps each animal stand out. - forest green
- orange
- sand beige

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the sea and sky: fill the ocean waves with ocean blue and the strip under the umbrella with pale blue, leaving the cloud white.
- 2Color the umbrella panels alternating coral red and sunny yellow, add orange to one panel, and make the pole brown.
- 3Paint the puppy in golden yellow, including the body, tail, ears and arm, then add a hot pink tongue and a coral red collar with a sunny yellow tag.
- 4Fill the sandcastle with sand beige and its top block with royal blue, then add a cream yellow shell emblem and the bucket in royal blue with a cobalt blue handle.
- 5Color the turtle head and flippers lime green, its shell forest green, and the crab and shovel coral red, keeping the turtle eye whites white. Use lavender for the small shells and orange for the starfish.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading on the shell edges and bottom of the sandcastle to make the picture pop.
