The moment a low, sleek race car skids over the finish line in a big cloud of dusty smoke is what this page is all about. - 1Start with the big sky and hill areas: color the grass and hill in leaf green and grass green, leaving the top-left background and the checkered flag white.
- 2Color the banner in bright blue and fill the FINISH letters with golden yellow, adding a few golden yellow confetti pieces in the air.
- 3Fill the race car with bright red, including the hood, side body, and front bumper, and color the windshield in pale sky blue.
- 4Add the flagpoles in burnt orange, the road in light gray, and the bushes in mixed greens, blues, and oranges.
- 5Color the smoke clouds in pale blue, leaving the brightest puffs white, and add the tiny paper scraps in sky blue and bright red.
- 6Optional: Add a little charcoal gray shading under the car and along the wheels to make it look like it is skidding.
