Rainy Day Puddle Splash Coloring Page For Kids
Coloring guide
Wearing a hooded raincoat and tall rain boots, a smiling boy splashes through a big puddle with an open umbrella in one hand. His free arm stretches out to the side and one boot kicks up behind him, as if he's dancing. A fluffy cloud sits in the top left corner, raindrops fall all around, and water bursts up from the puddle at his feet. The raincoat has a front pocket and three round buttons, which are nice spots for small details. A yellow raincoat with red boots is a classic choice, and a few shades of blue will do for the raindrops and puddle. Grab this free printable when you need a quiet, creative moment. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the cloud in pale blue gray and all the falling raindrops and puddle splashes in light blue.
- 2Fill the umbrella: bright red for the middle panel, bright blue for the two outer panels, and leave the small white panel near the top left white.
- 3Color the raincoat, hood, sleeves and both rain boots golden yellow, then add tangerine orange to the two pockets.
- 4Use light peach for the face, hands, ears and neck, and chestnut brown for the hair.
- 5Fill the pants with denim blue and the umbrella handle with medium gray, keeping the puddle area mostly white.
- 6Finish with coral pink for the open mouth, leaving the teeth white. Optional: add a slightly darker blue on the pants for depth.
