Raised Fist Venus Symbol With Flowers and Resist Banner

A raised fist sits inside the circle of the Venus symbol, with the cross at the bottom wrapped in a cluster of blooms. The flowers include large layered dahlias or mums, a few smaller round pom-pom style flowers, ruffled buds, and little leaves. Tiny dotted sprigs of baby's breath fill the gaps around the ring. Across the bottom, a ribbon banner with curled ends spells out the word RESIST in tattoo-style capital letters. The linework is bold and clean, so it works well for markers, gel pens, or colored pencils. Try giving each flower a different color family and keeping the fist one solid shade so it stands out from the petals. The big dahlia petals are great for practicing gradients, going from light at the tips to dark at the center. This page is free to print, and it could also spark a talk about what the word resist means to your kids or students.
