Mid-jump over a dirt hill in the forest, this cartoon rally car has big round eyes and a wide smile. All four wheels are off the ground, and small motion lines near the tires show it's airborne. Kids get plenty to color, from the honeycomb grille and round headlights to the roof scoop, rear spoiler and chunky knobby tires with a mud flap. Tall pine trees fill the background, leaves drift through the air, and grass tufts and small rocks line the bottom. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the car body, hood, fenders and side panels with candy red, leaving the windshield, eye whites and headlight shine white.
- 2Color the pine trees and bushes with pine green and leaf green, and tint the small mirror base olive.
- 3Shade the tires and grille in charcoal gray, then use steel gray for the bumpers, underbody and wheel hubs.
- 4Add sky blue to the side window and headlight glass, pale ice blue to the headlight lenses, and deep red inside the smile.
- 5Color the rocks on the path in warm brown and leave the smile teeth white.
- 6Optional: add a little darker red or charcoal along the lower edges of the body for depth.
