Ready-to-Strike Shadow in a Sonic the Hedgehog Coloring Page
Coloring guide
Shadow the Hedgehog leans forward in a bold fighting stance on this page, both fists clenched. One is raised near his face and the other is held out to the side, while his sharp eyes look right at you. There's plenty to color, from the swept-back quills and fluffy chest tuft to the wrist cuffs and chunky futuristic sneakers with round details on the sides. Nothing else is on the page, so kids can focus on Shadow alone. A little color reference picture in the top corner shows how he usually looks. Deep crimson and black would look great on the quills, with red stripes on the shoes and a cream chest tuft. This one is free to print or download, whatever your age. Looking for more? - scarlet
- light peach
- chocolate brown
- maroon
- burnt orange
- warm gray

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start by coloring the main body of Shadow, including the torso, arms, and quills, with charcoal gray, pressing lightly and keeping the eye whites and white gloves and shoes untouched.
- 2Fill the red stripe across the top of the head with bright red, and add the red strips on the shoes with scarlet and maroon.
- 3Color the wide cuffs on the wrists and ankles with golden yellow, then add the chocolate brown patch on the right ankle and the burnt orange band on the left ankle.
- 4Add the light peach cheek and muzzle areas on the face, and use warm gray for the left wrist shadow.
- 5Use black for the small dark area near the left ankle to add depth.
- 6Optional: Add a little extra charcoal gray along the edges of the quills and the underside of the arms to make the shading look richer.
