Roaring Lion on Top of a Rocky Ledge

Coloring guide
Standing tall on a rocky outcrop, this male lion tilts his head up and opens his mouth in a big roar, with teeth and tongue showing. His mane is full and shaggy, with lots of pointed tufts around the face and chest that make fun sections to color. The tail curls out behind him and ends in a fluffy tuft, and his big paws grip the edge of the rock. Three simple outlined clouds float in the plain sky. Large shapes and clear lines suit kids who don't mind a little detail. Golden yellow and warm orange work for the body, and a deep brown mane will really stand out. - 2Color the whole mane, the top of the head, and the tuft at the end of the tail with chestnut brown.
- 3Fill the big rock ledge with light gray, then add the sky blue clouds and keep the highlights white.
- 4Paint the open mouth with deep rose and the tongue with coral pink, then color the teeth, paws, and belly patch cream.
- 5Add the inner ear in peach and the ear in golden yellow, keeping the eye whites and small shine spots white.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading along the mane and rock edges to make the drawing pop.
