Friendly Robot Coach Drawing Up a Basketball Play
Coloring guide
Beside a tactics board, a smiling robot coach points to a court diagram covered in arrows, X marks and O marks. The robot has an antenna, round ear pieces, a whistle on a cord and a clipboard tucked under one arm. Three young players in basketball jerseys sit on a bench with their backs to us, listening: a boy with short hair, a girl with a ponytail and a child with curly hair. A basketball rests on the ground at the lower left, and behind everyone you can see a hoop with a net and backboard, a park bench and some bushes. Silver and blue would suit the robot, and giving each jersey its own color helps the kids stand out. You can print or download this free page with no sign-up. Looking for more? - 1Color the robot's head, torso, and arms in sky blue, then add light blue on the top of the head and the side panels for a bit of shine.
- 2Fill the robot's legs and feet with sky blue, and use navy blue on the darker leg and ear accents.
- 3Color the whiteboard surface cream, the court lines and key area in apricot and tangerine orange, and the play markings in tangerine orange.
- 4Color the kids: red shirt for the boy on the left, violet purple top for the girl, forest green shirt for the boy on the right, brown and dark brown hair, and light peach or caramel tan skin tones.
- 5Fill the bench in amber orange, the leaf green bushes and trees, the light gray pavement, and the basketball in tangerine orange; leave the backboard white.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading on the pavement and bushes with the same colors for depth.
