Rouge the Bat Hovering, Sonic the Hedgehog Series Page
Coloring guide
Rouge the Bat, from the Sonic the Hedgehog series, floats in mid-air in this clean line drawing, with her wings spread out on both sides and her arms relaxed. She gives a confident sideways glance with half-closed eyes, a small smile, and pointed ears. Her outfit includes a big heart-shaped panel on the chest, wrist cuffs, and tall boots with cuffed tops and a little heart on each toe. Nothing is behind her, so kids can concentrate on the character. The wings have scalloped edges and thin ribs, which are nice to color in slowly. Soft purple wings, white gloves and boots, and a bright pink chest heart would look good. It's free to print, and you may want a few spare copies. Love this Sonic the Hedgehog coloring page? A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big purple wings: fill the two large wings with deep purple, then use medium purple along the outer edges of the left wing.
- 2Color the face, neck and chest skin with peach, leaving the eye whites and the white parts of the head untouched.
- 3Fill the bodysuit and legs with charcoal gray, keeping the arms, gloves, boots and hands white.
- 4Add the hot pink heart on the chest, the heart on the boot and the pink strap around the ankle.
- 5Use sky blue for the eyelids above the eyes and light gray for the ear tufts, glove cuffs and the small tuft by the chin.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading along the edges of the wings and bodysuit to make the page look more finished.
