Round Goldfish With Big Scales and Striped Fins

A chubby fish swims toward the right with one big round eye, a small pouty mouth, and a smooth, plain head. Its body is covered in rows of overlapping scales that curve like little scallops, and each one is a roomy space for color. A tall striped fin rises from the back, a fan-shaped tail with long stripes trails on the left, and two more striped fins sit below the body. The thick, clean outlines make this easy for younger kids to color inside. Try a different color for each scale row, then switch to a new pattern for the fin stripes, like alternating two shades. It also works well for a quick talk about fish parts, since the fins, tail, scales, and eye are all easy to point out. Print it free and use crayons or markers.
