Cartoon Goldfish With Spiral Eyes and Curly Lashes

A cartoon goldfish swims diagonally across the page with big round eyes, a spiral in each pupil and a set of long curled eyelashes on top. Its lips are pursed in a little pucker. The round body has a patch of curved scale marks on the upper back, and a tall dorsal fin curls into a spiral at the very top. Below the body you will find two pointed fins, a smaller fin near the belly, and a wide wavy tail that sweeps down to the bottom right corner. The large open fin and tail shapes are easy to fill in, so younger kids can color them without much trouble. Try orange and yellow on the scales, then switch to a soft gradient from orange to pink on the tail and top fin. Older kids can add tiny patterns inside the scale marks. This free printable works well for an ocean or pet unit.
