Round Goldfish With Puckered Lips and Overlapping Scales

A round-bodied fish swims facing left, with a large circular eye, a small puckered mouth with two rounded lips, and a curved head section set apart from the body by a bold line. Behind the head, the body is covered in overlapping scales of different sizes, which gives plenty of small spaces to fill in. A tall striped fin rises from the back, a fan-shaped tail with thin lines sits on the right, and long wavy fins trail underneath. Try coloring each scale in a different shade of orange, yellow, and red, then leave the head a lighter color so it stands out. Kids can also practice careful pencil work in the narrow fin sections. This free printable works well for a quick afternoon activity or an ocean-themed lesson.
