A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big background areas: fill the walls, columns and floor tiles with cream, leaving the pony's body and chest white.
- 2Color the curtains, banners and the red carpet at the bottom with crimson red, and the pillar bases and floor stripes with mustard gold.
- 3Fill the tiara, hooves, bottom corners and hanging trims with golden yellow, and add hot pink to the throne.
- 4Color the flowing mane and tail with a mix of baby pink, pale turquoise, lilac purple and periwinkle blue, letting the colors blend along the curls.
- 5Add orchid pink to the small hair curl and soft violet blue to the hind leg, then keep the eye whites, horn and ear highlights white.
- 6Optional: Add a little extra lilac shading along the inside of the mane for depth.
