Ruffled-Center Flower With Pointed Petals on a Curved Stem

Coloring guide
A single flower with a bumpy, ruffled center sits at the top of a curved stem, with big pointed petals fanning out in every direction. Some petals are wide and rounded, others are long and narrow, and a few curl or overlap behind the center. Thin interior lines on the petals show where veins or folds would be. Two broad leaves branch from the lower part of the stem, one on each side, each with a center vein line. The outlines are clean and bold with plenty of open white space, so it works well for kids who are still building control with crayons or markers. Try coloring each petal a slightly different shade of one color, like light to dark purple, to show how the petals overlap. Print it free and use it for a quick lesson on the parts of a flower: center, petals, stem, and leaves.
