A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big yellow areas: color SpongeBob's body, top, and sides with golden yellow, leaving the two big eye whites untouched.
- 2Fill the sand patches and the sand mounds with pale yellow, including the sand under the beach chair and near Sandy.
- 3Color Mr. Krabs' body and the red crab claw with coral red, then add the light blue belly stripes and the bright blue towel.
- 4Add the brown pants and chocolate brown belt details on SpongeBob, then color the beach chair and umbrella red panels, keeping the umbrella white panels white.
- 5Use lime green for SpongeBob's spots, olive green for the mouth corner, and lavender gray for the rocks at the bottom.
- 6Optional: Add a little shading along the edges of the yellow body and the sand for depth.
