A sand bucket sits in a small mound of sand with a square-headed shovel poking out of the top. The bucket has a big curved handle that swings over to one side and attaches with a round pin. Around the middle there are three starfish with little circles in their centers, and just below them a row of wavy lines like ocean water. Thin stripes run along the top and bottom of the bucket, and a few dots of sand are scattered on the ground. The words Happy Summer are written in clean, thin letters across the top. Try coloring the starfish in different warm shades and the waves in blues and greens, then ask kids to talk about what they like to build at the beach. The outlines are bold and the shapes are large, so it works well for younger kids using crayons.
