Sasuke Caught in a Giant Snake Coil, Naruto Page

A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.

• peach cream
• dusty purple
• pale lavender
• royal blue
• midnight blue
• warm beige
• mauve gray

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.

1. 1Start with the skin areas: fill Sasuke's face, bare chest, hands and the light snake scales with peach cream, leaving the eye whites and tiny highlights white.
2. 2Fill the snake's main scales in dusty purple, alternating them with the peach cream scales so the coil looks patterned like the example.
3. 3Color Sasuke's kimono, sleeves and the snake's upper head area in pale lavender, keeping the fold lines dark and the background white.
4. 4Color Sasuke's spiky hair in midnight blue, then the pants and belt in royal blue, and the darker snake shadows in mauve gray and warm beige.
5. 5Optional: add a few light strokes of a darker shade along the snake's lower coils and under the kimono to add depth.
