A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.

1. 1Start with the big monster body, head, arms and claws in teal, and use dark teal for the horns and the lower jaw.
2. 2Color Daphne's dress and sleeves in violet, her scarf in lime green, and her headband in lavender.
3. 3Fill Daphne's hair in orange and her face, neck, arms and legs in peach skin, leaving the eye whites and teeth white.
4. 4Color the mountains in slate blue gray and steel blue gray, and the ground in grass green, sage green and olive brown; keep the sky areas white.
5. 5Add the monster's dark red mouth, bright red tongue and pale yellow claw tips, keeping the teeth white.
6. 6Optional: add a slightly darker shade of teal on the monster's body and a bit of darker violet on the skirt for depth.
