School Bus Carrying Pencils and an Open Book on Its Roof
Coloring guide
A cartoon school bus drives along with three tall pencils poking up from the roof on the left and a big open book tilted up on the right. The bus has a rounded body, five windows (a small oval one at the front, a tall narrow one, and three rounded squares), and two large round wheels with inner circles. A small round headlight sits near the front, and a puff of cloud-shaped exhaust trails from the back. Bubble letters on the side spell BACK TO SCHOOL, which are fun to color in with two contrasting colors. The wide open spaces suit crayons or markers well. Try coloring the three pencils in different colors, then have kids name the colors and count the pencils. The printable page also works nicely as a first-day-of-school activity or a classroom door decoration.
