Schoolhouse With Bell Tower, Bus and Flagpole

A little schoolhouse sits at the center of the page with a pointed roof on top of a small tower, and a big bell hanging inside the tower window. The front of the building has a wide slanted awning over the entrance, two columns, and a door with glass panes. On the right, a school bus is parked in front of the building, showing a row of square windows and two round wheels. On the left, a flag with wavy stripes hangs from a tall pole that stands on a small base. The lines are bold and the shapes are fairly large, so this page works well for younger kids. Print it for the first week of school and let children color the bus yellow, then pick their own colors for the flag stripes. You could also ask them to count the bus windows as they color.
