Scuttle Gets a Look at Ariel's Pearl

A smiling mermaid with long flowing hair sits on a rock, holding an open shell in one hand with a round pearl inside. Her other hand is held out flat beside it, as if she is explaining something. She wears a seashell-style top and has a flower tucked into her hair. Next to her, a seagull with a big beak and messy head feathers leans in with one wing raised and an animated look on his face. This is Ariel with Scuttle from The Little Mermaid. The lines are clean and the shapes are fairly large, so it works well for crayons or markers. Try a soft shimmery white, pink, or silver on the pearl so it stands out, then use warm and cool colors to separate the shell top from the tail. Kids can also talk about what Scuttle might be saying about the pearl.
