Shaggy Duke Running With Small Dog in Mouth

A big shaggy dog, which looks like Duke from The Secret Life of Pets, bounds across the page in side view with his bushy tail curled up behind him. His long floppy ear streams back, his eyes look down with a worried expression, and his big round nose sits above a scruffy, bearded muzzle. In his mouth he carries a smaller dog with a collar, one upright ear and wide eyes. Duke wears his own collar with a buckle, and a round tag hangs near his front paw. Lots of short fur strokes cover his chest, legs and tail. Try a warm brown for Duke and a lighter color for the little dog, so the two stand apart. Kids can also practice short, flicking crayon strokes to match the fluffy fur. This free printable works well for a quiet afternoon.
