Shaggy Mountain Goat on a High Rocky Ledge

Coloring guide
A friendly, shaggy goat stands tall on a flat rock ledge and gazes out with big round eyes and a little smile. The long curved horns have ridged bands, and the fluffy coat, whiskery beard and small tail are full of jagged fur lines, so there's lots to color. Pointed mountain peaks rise in the distance, rounded bushes sit at the edges, and three puffy outline clouds drift in the sky. Younger kids can handle the big open shapes of the sky and mountains, while steadier hands can take on the fur and horn stripes. Try cream and light gray for the coat, tan and brown for horns and hooves, and blue for the sky. A free printable for animal lessons or quiet time at home. Kids who like Goat coloring pages usually enjoy Horses and Cow too.

- 1Fill the goat's fluffy body, head, chest and tail with cream white, leaving the eyes white as well.
- 2Color the two horns with tan brown, then add the baby pink inside both ears and the dark charcoal gray hooves and nose.
- 3Paint the mountains in steel blue, keeping the snowy peaks white, and fill the clouds with light sky blue.
- 4Color the rocky ledge in light gray, with slate gray on the shaded right side, and fill the bushes with grass green.
- 5Optional: Add a little slate gray shading along the goat's legs and under the chest to make the fur look fuller.
