Shark Chase! Ariel and Flounder Flee Near the Wreck

Coloring guide
A large shark with its mouth wide open and rows of sharp teeth dives down from the top of the page toward a mermaid and a small fish. The mermaid is Ariel, swimming away with her arms stretched out, a worried look on her face and her tail flipping behind her. Flounder swims beside her with wide, nervous eyes. Below them are broken wooden planks, a splintered post and part of a ship's wheel from a sunken wreck resting on the sandy sea floor. Round bubbles of different sizes float all around. Try coloring the shark in cool grays and blues, then use warm reds and oranges for Ariel's hair so she stands out. The free printable also works well for talking about how shading makes water look deeper. Bubbles are great for practicing light pastel colors.
